Post details

well actually and dont laught its gutter guard from like home depot or lowes, its only like 1.24 for a 6" by 3' sheet, i started out with a carboard template and went from there cut it to the right size and traced it on the grill and cutout a lil extra that way i can fold it in there for a tighter fit, i just started it last night so im gonna try to get it a little cleaner, but you look at a rock chip on a fog light you would have to caulk it or replace i think 1.24 is a lil better than 30$ for a new housing.

Yeah, I did it to my 98...
I used the aluminum gutter gaurd.
Eventually I filled the holes from the stock grille and mounted the plate on the front air dam. Don't laugh... it is out of the way down there and is fully visible to oncoming LEOs. They can read it fine so none have bothered me about it over the last year and a half. The only problem is that I lowered my car almost 2", now the plate, which hung lower than the air dam, scraped and bent the bottom inch upward. Now it is only as tall as the air dam.
All the stuff an officer needs to see is still visible though.
Dave

You can check my site for some pics.
