Anyone Ever Do A Formula to Trans Am Conversion?

I'm thinking about doing this. I love my car but I like the look of the t/as more. I've been kicking this idea around because my front bumper has some spider cracking and it needs to be painted anyway. To do the complete exterior conversion I would need the front and rear bumper covers, gfx, and hatch, correct? I can find the bumper covers easily and they aren't too expensive but I can't find the gfx anywhere. I'm thinking of keeping the stock formula spoiler if I do the conversion. Please post your ideas on this if you have any. Thanks.

With the Formula hatch it would look just like a 2.73 geared 94-95 TA.

I thought they had the raised spoiler? Could you elaborate on this? I honestly think that it would look pretty sick with the formula spoiler along w/ the other t/a parts.

I will trade you rear bumper covers, I want to run true duals and your cover would be way better than mine.

interesting- the gear option determined the High spolier on 94-95ta? never knew that

anyways- you got it backwards- the TA hatch/GFX and the formula front would be awsome (i assume you have a LT1 style 'bird)- be unique

If you have an LS1 car- forget the front too, they look the same- get a hood or somethin- i love the firehawk hood- suttle and elegant

EDIT: just read your sig: keep your front clip

Is your car black? I'd be up for it if it is....... How's the conidition of the bumper? Mine's not 100% perfect but it's in good shape, I could take pics.

Yes, my car is black, shipping may be what kills us though, I looked at some old posts and most people are not shipping these b/c they have to go freight. I am in OH, where are you located? My bumper is in good shape too.

ya some 93/94 TA's had the low wing....the Trans Am GTs had the high rise wing. then in like 95 all TAs's had the high rise wing. Im pretty sure thats the difference. but ya...the TA body with low spoiler looks alright.

Ive seen the formula nose with TA skirts/rear bumper and spoier and it looked awful. The formula nose doesnt hand as low as the TA skirts so none of it flows and lines up well. The car looks like its missing something. And as for LS1s....the formula nose is quite a bit different than the TA...the vents and foglights and stuff are all different
