Appears that he doesn't have the rear Z28 badge. Either he is a V6 and put side Z28 badges on, or he is a true Z28 and took the rear one off. My bet is he is a V6 wanna-be.

Oddly enough looks kinda like a Y87(performance option) v6 Camaro, with dual turndown exhaust tips... and a z28 badge...

 

I have both my bowtie and Z28 emblem removed from the rear. I just felt they were out of place.

 

I see dual turndowns, but I don't think that option was available for the V6 before the change to the rear lights w/ amber turn signals, which was 96 or 97.

It's also a body colored roof which wasn't available on the Z28 till later also.

Not sure though

whats even worse is, im in NJ an theres a local punk who had done the same thing to his stock wheels, then at a park a bunch of us play ball with he tried to tell us he had nitrous as well so no one believe him, he pops the trunk, has an un wired mounted oxygen tank bottles (he does volunteer EMS work) in the trunk...talk about lame
