Anybody good with Photoshop

Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
I like the gold wheels on the Ferrari, but the purple and gold trend is definitely waaaaaaay out of style these days. That's one look that is very hard to pull off.
I do have a pic of a black Camaro with yellow wheels somewhere I think.... it surprisingly looked great IMO.

Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
I dissagree to a point. while the car is purple, it has the black trim i.e. mirrors, headlight buckets, roof, etc. i think the black would look really good still. the paint in the picture i posted is the original paint, so it's somewhat faded, a bit. and yeah... i'm kinda going for a dark theme. if i felt like buying new wheels i would go with some vette grand sport replicas. black stars with the chrome lip, but i'm thinking it'd be cheaper to just have these powdercoated. By the way. Thank you very much Brangeta. Great Work. i'll try to get you some high res. pics when i finish everything. again. i appreciate it very much so.

but do what you like... I like that color purple a lot.. really sweet

My 2 cents...
If I didn't decide to be self-employed a few years ago (or the economy didn't go to hell in 2006), I'd probably already have a BPM Z28. If I found a stock one, I was going to leave it stock. But if I found one with some mods, I was going to put OEwheels 17" C6 Z06 replicas on it in silver and a set of C5 Corvette brakes on the front. I like the contrast of black, purple, and silver, and think it looks best. Chrome takes away from the beauty of the purple paint IMO and black makes the purple stand out too much. These are the pics I photoshopped years ago. The car was originally polo green metallic, but I didn't have to change anything else because the guy who owned it modified it did absolutely everything I thought of doing (though I would have left the exhaust stock or had it powdercoated black). Strano springs, Koni shocks, and chassis mods to correct the lowering issues.

I think you should stick with silver personally. Chrome would be my second choice.

Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
those wheels do look damn good on that car. the paint on mine is all cracked and chipped, and i was thinking about black. i'm half tempted to go to a rim shop and just set one down next to my car and see how black looks. i still think that a high gloss black would look really nice, not that pukey primer black people try to pull off.
Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
Now THAT is nice I agree that the silver compliments the purple but for the op I went ahead and photoshopped this with the black wheels so you can get an idea of what it looks like, still looks nice it just changes the feel of it since there's no contrast color to break things up and draw your attention away from the purple.
Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
I.M.O. the purple is one of the best aspects of the car. and the photoshop portion of life isn't quite as good looking since you don't really get a glossy feel in the pictures. update pics of my paint job are coming soon to my thread.

All i can say is Good Luck. Mine is the only one i have ever seen in person. i'm one of the few owners on this forum. I L.O.V.E. this color. people give me crap all the time because my car is purple, but when it's just one persone standing there not trying to seem manly, they say "I know i give you crap all the time, but that is the most gorgeous purple i have ever seen" HAHAHA.
Re: Anybody good with Photoshop
pretty good ps of my pic! I do have to say, it does disappoint me to see the wheels like that though! When i look at the pic i made, it's like car ****, it just looks perfect to me (even though i probably should have made the exhaust black). When i look at the black wheels on it, i'm just like... Ohhhhhh look at that body! But her wheels...! Paperbag those!
