Question Anybody ever heard of a Customization Shop called Specter Works? Check this out....

I was searching around on a sh!tload of different pages...wasting my life away And I came across a page of This guy's camaro.

I was wondering if anybody knew of the shop that he said he got his interior done by..."Specter Works Customization"?
IF so...do you have the number or webpage for them? I can't find it for the life of me! I REALLY need that speedometer

Any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!

Was on the john the other day and i pucked up an old issue of Super Chevy, had the GTZ in it. It talks all about under the hood. The only part it talks about the interior is the expensive guage pod.

It's the dec 2000 volume 29, no. 12 issue.

Spector is a Corvette tuner. They make some wide body kits along with various other cosmetic and performance enhancements for Corvette's.

Specter is in Troy Michigan.... 15 minutes from me. I've seen the Camaro GTZ in person. It's damn nice. I even called Specter to ask about it.... and believe me, the guy paid out the *** for what he had done....

www.spectregtr.com is their site

It appears their site is victim of the SQL Slammer virus right now...

In the meantime, I found a picture of my car, next to the car in question at the Woodward DreamCruise....

What's up Mike!

i too live near Spectre Werkes, and i have spoken to the glistners about the car, it is a 99 Hugger Orange Z28, and as soon as he recieved the car, he had it sent to Spectre, the hood is a custom one of, styled like the ferrari maranello hood, it has a stroked LS1, with custom seats, he actually said that the factory seats wouldn't fit to well, as he is a little wider, so he had a custom wider set made, and had a guy at GM/Delphi, custom make a set of orange guages for the car, it is an awesome car to see, and you would never think that it is his wife's car. They have a small fleet of cars he said, like an iroc that could be eaten off the engine and undercarriage, and a pace car vette. It is at the CamaroSuperfest in Ann Arbor Michigan every year, it is the largets all Camaro Car show in the nation, every 4 th of July weekend.

Here is the site.... Mike's link above was close, but the spelling was off a little.

http://www.spectergtr.com/index.html

I work down the street from there on Rankin Road in Troy. I've seen tons of C5R's that come out of that shop. Quality work for sure, but too much money for my taste.

They do mostly C5R Corvette's and so far John's the only GTZ I've seen anywhere.

The SLP site's back up and running to view pictures of John's car and the link that was posted in the first post.

Hope that helps
