the tint that the previous owner had on my 95 is starting to go
so i'm debating whether to keep it legal or not (50% i believe)
who here has about that and is it dark enough?
i mean, can you really see through it being about 20 ft away?
i've got enough cops getting me for stupid stuff so i'm actually thinking of staying legal

 

That's pretty high. In Florida I believe legal is 30%. Before you do anything you want to check the laws in your area... you don't want to get 50% if the legal limit is 30%. Or at least I wouldn't

 

Currently have 5% all the way around on the SS and I love it.

Had 35% on my front windows and 5% on rear of my old V6.
The 35% could definitely be seen through from almost any distance...but it was a nice change from no tint at all.

If you are concerned about cops, go legal. You'll be happy with any quality tint job regardless of the percent.

yea, i actually was pulled over for it (and nothing else, can you believe that?) and he said the legal limit was 50, i'm almost positive
he was cool about it (surprisingly considering the dept.) but you know, don't wanna get speeding, no lic. plate, and tint to add on a ticket
i have 1 step below legal on my RS and it isn't too bad considering it's 1 step below legal but with a black interior i'm just wondering
