Any experience with affordable racing seats? (not sparco/carbeua etc)

im looking for some nice racing seats but cant dish out the $800++++ a pair for sparco,carbeua,racaro,cobra etc. any opinions on Tenzo R,espeed,matrix,DADetc, like found on ebay for $300-$500 a pair ..trying to stay away from ricey emblems you know and i dont know anything about the quality of these products..

any info helpfull!!

you get what you pay for.
this is especially true for seats.

though i've heard good things about corbeau, i've also heard bad things about them as well...

i can't afford to spend alot on seats, but i will. just a matter of saving my pennies.

It is true you get what you pay for. While many seats look nice, they wear out fast or are extremely uncomfortable. I can't comment on the first link, but they look good, copies of Sparco Torino's and Recaro Style's. I recommend sitting in whatever you buy before you buy them, you may not even fit in them for all you know. Definately get the dimensions at least, and compare.

I can tell you this, STAY AWAY from the Tenzo's. They are butt ugly and EXTREMELY uncomfortable. If you way anything over 150 you will have a hard time squeezing your *** into the seat bottoms and climbing out of them. Really though, anything would be an improvement on the stock seats.

i have a pair of red and black r1 seats they are very very comfortable and ffordable

cost me 430 shipped to my door brand new

I found ones that are affordable and look alright. It was in an issue of Super Street, I read it for the articles..... $499 a pair Zero1Racing, any comments? They are at www.speedpeople.com
