Another install (3rd eye LED's), pics...

I re-installed a new pair of 921 SMT 18 led towers in the 3rd eye brake light. This replaced my older LED 921's that had a reduced dispersion and intensity. The new LED's are incredibly bright and now match my SMT LED towers in the tail-lights. Unfortunately I only had a 2 mega-pixel Iphone 3G to take pictures, but the pics still turned out decent. In person this is bright !

PS: I also received my LTxTech sticker and applied it to the top of the back window. It's not very notice-able (until your close), about 1 1/2" tall x 7" long. Showing my support for 09' LTx shootout. The bird is going to the event locked and loaded

I put leds in mine awhile back and the cruise didn't work with them in there.I have since found out that you have to put a relay or resistor inline with them for them to work.I have changed all mine to leds too,did it a couple years ago.Think I'm going to start to change them out to the new smt leds like the one's you are using now.The only one's in mine right now that aren't leds are the third brake light and the front turn signals.I had a short in those and had to replace the sockets and when I changed them I went with the 3157 sockets instead of the old 1157 style.Still need to get the new one's for them. Going to go with the switchbacks for those.

Switchbacks are cool, I have them in my front clears. I get compliments on them all the time. Just remember to use a EL12 for your flasher relay circuit. I run a EL12 for the flasher relay and the hazard relay.
