Another 1LE foglight delete thread.

Hi everyone. I've only seen the 1le foglight delete question pop up here about a thousand times but anyway,
I got mine done so I thought I would post some pics. Go here http://www.cardomain.com/id/jamesz28 to page 4. I know the car is dirty but that's besides the point. I haven't seen anyone post detailed pics of this yet so I thought this might help someone. Best $10 I've spent on my car yet!

Looks very good - this really cleans it up.
Thank you very much for the pics!
I didn't take any when I done this - and I wish I would have, just for this very reason.

I am putting together a lighting website - since this is sort of lighting, do you mind me putting those pics up on it? I wouldn't claim them as my own or anything. LMK, that way hopefully the 1LE Fog Light Delete threads will slow down too.

They look really good. I might have to do that since I never use my fog lamps. I think I've used them 3-4 times since I bought the car.

Thanks to everybody for the compliments. They are held in with some black #8 interior trim screws. You should be able to find an assortment pack of these under the "Help" line at your local AutoZone, Advance, Pep Boys, ect.
Edit: I didn't drill any holes. I just used the screwed them into the nose, they are pretty much self tapping. I would advise that you pay attention to how they seat in the covers. Once you get a pair in your hands it will be pretty obvious.

Thank you! I've always thought the factory fog lights were pretty useless. Plus I've got a "stealth" switch (the old fog light switch) that I can use now. Maybe a good way to power some nitrous solenoids? Who knows.

Just curious, how much did they end up costing you? I've read before that it is only like $5.00 for the pair from gmpartsdirect. If I knew that they could ship like that I'd have probably gotten them online. Still, with tax I paid a total ot $12.13 locally. Not too bad. A pack of trim srews were close to $4.00. If I would've thought ahead of time, I would've took some out of a wreck the last time I was at a salvage yard.

The price gmpartsdirect had them for was I think 3.40 each. Not bad but they kill you on shipping, I had a few other parts on order so I paid for like 5 parts shipped, oh and I think the trim screws were included with mine
