amp painting
The normal stuff that you would do to anything that you're about to paint. Scuff it with some light grit sandpaper and then hit it up with some alcohol or something of that nature to get all the grease off of it.
Heres my fool proof 8 step system.
1.Scuff them up with 400 gritt, Make sure to get all the little nook and crannies in the process
2.Wipe with wax and grease remover then tack cloth.
3.Prime with epoxy primer ********
4.Scuff with grey scotch brite pad
5.wipe with wax and grease remover and tack cloth
6.spray base let flash
7.spray with clear.
8.Let them cure for 24 hours before reinstalling.
********If your just using a rattle can or single stage paint prime with rustolium bare metal primer. Then follow steps 4,5,8
