Aluma star 2.0
Aluma star 2.0
I was searching and couldn't find anything on the subject to answer my question directy so I thought I would ask. I found Weld Aluma Star 2.0 on Jegs web-site. WOW those are light!!
I wanted to know what size would work for front and rear with regular street tires?
I like the look of big tires on the rear, but need to keep it safe for every day use with regular tires. I wrote to Mikey Thompson about their "sportsman" DOT line of tires and they stated that they are not intended for everyday use.
Has anyone used a 15x10, and a 15x8 combo? Or variation of that? Such as 15x12 and 15x10 or 15x10 and 15x7?
Seems the only fronts I could find are 15x4 or less for "skinnies". If someone has done a set up like this can can be used on the streets could you post some pics, and specs such as width, tire size, backspacing and any mods you had to do to make the 15" rim work?
