Question Which Altezza?

I've got a Red Camaro, I want Altezza's which kind should I get, Chrome Backing, or Carbon-Fibre Backing. They both look good, but I'm not sure.

Please help me decide.

Chrome Backing: http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...TZ-9301CAM-DEP

Carbon Fibre Backing: http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...RO-9302-ALZ-CF

Well if you have to go with any, go with the carbon fiber ones. Also, the clear ones look good with blackouts over them

Oh yea . . .

Get the chrome ones with the smoked lens. IMO I think they are the better ones for red camaros. If you get the chrome with clear lens it will stand out a little too much. The smoked lens kinda smoothes out the look and goes really well with over all appearance of the car. I put the smoked altezza on my car and it looks good IMO. I originally wanted the carbon fiber. Believe it or not I actually tried all three on my car. My friend has a shop and let me try all of them

There was only one thing I really didn't like about the carbon fiber ones. You could notice the glue seal all around and that didn't does for me. With the chrome backing, the seal is not noticed by the chrome. I have seen several camaros with just chrome altezzas and it sticks out too much, i think, except for a white camaro. It really looks good on white.

If they have those altezzas in smoke lens, take a look at them. The smoke lens is not dark at all. Its just more subtle. Either way good luck choosing the one that's right for you.

If I ever got altezzas I would get gunmetal ones and tint the lens red....

Carbon fiber ones I would tint black (smoke)

I have a red 95 convertible Z28 and I have the clear/chrome ones. They look awesome and I get asked about them all the time. I'll email you a picture of them on the car. They are good quality and DON'T leak!!

I agree. I dont' like those lights at all, they look like rice lights to me. But, each to his own. If I had to choose tho, I'd take the carbon fiber ones.

Buy whatever lights YOU like. I bought the chrome because that is my preferance. If you like the carbon fibre ones get those. The smoked ones are sweet too. Of all the Altezza style lights I've seen these are the only style I like. The 3D look is awesome!! But that's my opinion. You can see my altezzas by clicking on the link in my signature.

Dude altezzas are gay on Camaros. I bet the people that asked that one guy a few posts above about his taillights were really asking why he put them on! I know I know we all have our own opinions but im just expressing mine also. So as I said dont get any of them they look horrible.

Ohhh we all have our opinions...

I also have chrome altezza's...and honestly I love them. With a bright teal car I think it was best to have a brighter chrome color. Oh red, I personally just like black outs. Carbon Fiber looks pretty good and so does smoke. I'd try to avoid the chrome just because red isn't as bright and I think the red in the lights would almost mesh too much with the color of the body. But it's your call bro. Again, I have them on mine and I love them.

Oh and At the moment I don't have them...they are being sent back to Suncoast Creations because my one light just wouldn't stop fogging. It had some sort of condensation in it. I hope they take care of the problem...has anyone else experienced this?

I know everybody has opinions but if he asked it was because obviously he likes them and wants to know which ones would look better from the people who like them or think they are ok. He asked which ones were better not where to get them or not. This is not a flame, no intention to start an argument.

My lights get somewhat fogged only when I wash the car, but it quickly goes away.

Okay, I'm going to ditch the cgrome ones because they're played out and a bit to bright for my liking, I like the carbon fibre ones, but am interested in the smoked lens one. I haven't seen them around so if anyone can provide me with a link, that would be great.

Thanks
