ALL BLACK 93-97 Z28's.....

i currently have a red Z. Im selling and hooked a great deal on a family friend 94 Z with only 17,000 miles. Only thing, is thats its black. I was never to fond of black cars, but im excited to get this one. I would love to see some pictures of all your black Z28's. Im trying to get some ideas of what colors for the Z28 badging and stuff like that. i would really appreciate if you guys could post some pictures. Thank you in advance.

IMO black and white are the best colors you can go with on a Camaro. I'm not a big fan of red, I think they're kinda ugly. There are some amazing looking black Camaros out there and they will be posted. Right now I am looking in a black one...they just look so stealth...(the LT1s anyways )

I guess you wouldn't like my taste then. I went from a black LT1 Z to a red LS1 Z. Anyway, check out pics of my old black Z under "Old 95 Z28" on my site in the sig. I used silver badging.

Here are a few of my car.
It also has a shaved front end. So that's why it may look a bit different. You can also check out my webpage.Front View

thanx for the replies. i actually am pretty excited for black. it does look sharp. my question is... where are u guys getting the silver/chrome badges?? i have seen some on Ebay for cheap, but i didnt know if they were junk or not. But i also dont want to spend $40 on badges. are they actual badges? so im guessing i have to remove the ones that are already on the car?? or is it something that overlays the pre-existing badge? thanks again for all the responses.

I have a black 94 Z28... I chose to go for painting my emblems red and installing some red camaro inlays from RK Sport for the back! I think it looks awesome like that. There are plenty of pics in my sig... I think the black and red combo go great together!...
expect some updated pics pretty soon. My car was stolen, wrecked in the front end, then recovered... so Im doing a front end swap with a 2001 camaro.

Well, I said the same exact thing as you. "I'll never own a black car!" but then I got a good deal on it and went for it. I still dont like black, I do but dont. Heh, basically, I love it for those 10 minutes after I wash it that its clean.

Im going with a black/white scheme and eventually will redo my Z28 badges in white and some other little ideas I have.

Here are a few pics...rest can be found in the sig.

I tried overlays and they started to come off so I just took off my badges and painted them.

Pics of mine in the sig. Don't have any pics of the car with ttops yet, but probably will next week sometime. I'm also thinking of giong with a blueish color for the badges and calipers along with blue in the engine bay which I've already started on. I think I'll keep the silver interior though.
