I don't know if there are any 4th gen guys on here that have done it, there was a third-gen guy that did it though. The only con I could see with it would be that it is a bit expensive.

yeah i was at there site earlier and the front air stuts alone were $1k. the rears were only $300, but was looking at doing the fronts first.
any cheaper places to get the front struts besides air ride?

Cheaper sure, but it's not worth it, you get what you pay for. Air Ride is top notch, just think of all the struts you would have to buy over the life of the car as opposed to just getting the kit once.

If you enjoy the ride of your car do not do it, I did it to my old v6 camaro it was fun for show but the car will not handle good at all and everytime you hit a bump you will bounce for the next 2-3 mins. I got my kit from streettrends and you can get the whole kit there pretty cheap and it comes with everything you need to bolt right up.

yea iam gonna mostlieky get all my stuff from air ride. i have the tank vavles and compressers. Iam just lookin around to see if i can find a cheaper front strut setup beacuse air rides is 999. I talked to the guy wit the yellow t/a he bought a set of air struts and had all the brackets custom fabed up to get the car as low as it is.

well i am going to put some more thought into it, but i do know $1k is not an option.
i was thinking it could be done at a more affordable price.
but thanks for your opinions guys.

I was going to do it, I still might, just have to come up with the money. I've been in contact with Air ride technologies asking them alot of questions. It looks like it would be really nice and they said that everything would probably run about $3000. It would be pretty nice for roadraceing, autocrossing, and even drag raceing because of its adjustablility. The ride height and firmness/valveing is adjustable. It would be ideal for a car like mine because I cant really have a lowered vehicle and still drive it year round because of the bad roads around here. I show my car and also occasionally race it. And the only thing that would wear out are the 2 shocks in the rear. So it would be the last springs/shocks you would by. Seems practical for me even considering the high price.
