aftermarket ss hood =(

I have an American sport car design ss hood, got it used to put on my Z. but there seems to be a problem with the front, doesnt follow the curve of the front fenders at the front, the edges stick up about 1/2 cm higher over the fender right where the hood ends. and the right side doesnt have a nice space between the hood and the fender, it gets a bit wider right at the end over the headlight. what you all think? maybe I need to fiddle with it more to get it right? dunno how much more I can fiddle since its not much to adjust. can a body shop fix it? thanks

There is actually a lot more adjustment than one would think. A good body shop guy (with some experience at doing this) can usually get hoods to look pretty good by adjusting the hood and fenders. I would think you'd be able to adjust out 1/2 cm difference so there is hope!

1/2 a cm are you kidding? thats nothing! Like Brent said you could easily get that to line up. My hood was off like an inch

If the hood fits like **** then I would take it to a good body guy and have him fit it on your car. I have that same hood and it fit perfectly on my car. The only thing I had to do was to lower the hood hinges down a little cause the hood was a little high by the window.
