Is this an aftermarket shift ****?

Just seeing if my shift **** is an aftermarket one since I have no clue. Its an all black billet ball with a white "firebird" engraved on the top of it. Is this standard or did the guy who owned the car before me put a different one on

Sounds like a MBA product. I think all factory ***** are leather, or other form of cover.

Definatly not a stock item. it would have been nice to see GM use a little 2nd and 3rd gen styling in their fourth gen cars and include some unique touches. Ohh well
