Question aftermarket foglight bulbs

I want to get better bulbs for the stock foglights.

I went to a performance shop, but the guys there didn't know what type of bulb it uses. Does anyone know what kind to get?
He thought that it might be the type of halogens that you see on track lights and such in houses.

Thumbs down

Don't waste your money...
I put 100w bulbs in mine and it didn't improve/increase output.
I think the lens/housing designs are the problem.
Just get a good set of aftermarket lights.

I think there was a thread a long time ago saying that there's some kind of mod you can do to the fog lamp to make it brighter like taking something out of it.

Yeah... you can take the lil reflector blocker out (easy to see, once you get the bulb out) ... but it's a PITA...

Not worth it IMO.

I was thinking of getting a different color, like hyperwhite.
That way it will match my HID's a bit better.
