About to order my zo6 rims...

I'm about to order 18x9 1/2's with 40 series tires. My car is lowered with the Eibach pro kit will it rub alittle??? If it does, what is the easiest way to fix it?? Thanks

GOD I HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE A WHITE CAMARO TO!!! lol I am driving a 1994 Artic White Z28 which within a few days (PLEASE PRAY IT HAPPENS THIS TIME) I Get my 18x9.5 Z06 chrome rims and tires on. I ordered the Yokohama 275/40/18 AVS Sport tires ($350+ on yokohamatires.com) so I hope they dont' rub. If they don't, I'm ordering Eibach springs in a few months.

ps-I'm also looking for an answer on this question.

I'm interested in this too although I'm pretty sure when left stock there definitely shouldn't be any rubbing.

And for the most part, I would think with an inch or two drop, you should be fine. So many people have dropped their cars with lower rims I really don't think it'll be a problem. We do have pretty large wells.

Where are you guys purchasing your ZO6's? I ask because I'm interested in purchasing a set of 18 inch Chrome ZO6's before summer. There seems to be some killer deals on e-bay...not sure if they are that reliable or not...but i'd love a wheel and tire package.

I also have ZO6's with 275/35/18's all around with Eibach Pro Kit (no rubbing), but if you put on 275/40/18's they wil probably rub.

Shorty95Camaro- I bought my wheels from www.afswheels.com They sell Wheel & Tire Packages.

Sorry to say, but the 275/40/18 is not the correct tire to run. You need the 275/35/18 size.

The 275/40/18 will be a little over a full [B]INCH[/img] taller than your stock tires.
