about front end swap(different ?)

about front end swap(different ?)

If i do a front end swap on a 96 firebird, can i put the trans am bumber on instead of the firebirds bumber. and if i get a body kit do i get the 98+ kit or 93-97 kit?


and i want to put the trans am hach on. how would i go about doing that . taking off the firebird hach and putting the trans am one on.

best person to talk to about the conversion is scott at speedautomotive.com, he will tell you all the parts you need, plus lots of guys are doing this conversion including me on my 96z28

Yes, you can use the 98 T/A bumper cover, If you want the T/A wing you have to replace the hatch too is very heavy and is not cheap I did it to my 94 Formula.

and i plain on getting most of the stuff used or from the junk yard.

Used T/A hatch $320
I paid $150 on shipping
First of all you will need some help you can't do this alone. There is only two nuts on each side, just remove them and install the T/A hatch. You don't want to buy a new T/A hatch my local dealer wants $2050 for a new one.

You can use the new TA front bumper if you do so desire. And for gfx, you'll get 98-up style gfx for all the parts that are different. I don't believe that there are any real differences in the remainder of the car, but I could be wrong.
