99 Trans Am Conv. needs a new top

The top on my 99 Trans Am convertible is pretty ragged, and it's about time I replace it.

Has anyone dealt with any of the replacement top companies I'm finding online, and if so, any positive/negative reviews? I just don't want to drop a couple hundred dollars and wind up receiving a canvas turd in the end.

I found a local company here in Miami to replace the top of my 98. $500.00 out the door and it was almost indistinguishable from a new top. Just hope you can re-use the rear window or the cost goes up by 350. Good luck.

Since you're getting a new one, you might consider a top color change if your car is a certain color. For example, if your TA is white and has a black top, why not try white?

Most of these outfits sell the same tops. If you want a "quality" look, get the cloth top. If you want less expensive, get vinyl.
The difference in price often comes from what's included, or not, like the rain rail, head liner, etc.
