98+ SS rear end conversion.

What is involved in installing a 98+ SS spoiler and LS1 style taillights. Is it just plug and play or is there wireing involved.

It should all be plug-n-play. Just wondering, why would you want a 98+ SS spoiler? The 96-97 spoilers are unique.

IDK i just like the look of the center supoports in the 98+ SS spoilers. Even though the LT1 SS spoilers are rarer.

Re: 98+ SS rear end conversion.

It's not plug and play. The brake light is a different resistance and the ABS inop light will come on as a result. The Cruise Control will also stop working. The solution is to splice in an automotive relay to fool the system into thinking the resistance is correct.

There is a documented fix on Shoebox's website.
