Ok you guys, I don't post here very often but hopefully everyone recognizes my username: I have a question? For all you halo haters, that want true HID and real projectors, have you ever considered getting good projectors retrofitted into your stock headlights? (98-02 camaros) Well, I have been emailing the people over at www.HIDILLUSIONZ.com/html and I have worked out a good deal with them. If we can get 10 people (including myself) to purchase the low beam projector package from them, we can get s2000 projectors, shrouds, D2S bulbs and D2S conversion plugs, labor, paint (optional), and a good set of OEM ballasts. I am definately down with this, the normal price is like $645 for everything, but they may do it for like $550 if I can get 9 others to commit. This is a true upgrade and will definately make your ride mor luxurious. Just trying to see who's interested.

 

$550 is a very good price for all of that. I'm doing a similar project to my Subaru right now, and while it's a lot more labor intensive and custom, I've spent about $500 on parts alone, with the main difference is me using Infiniti FX35 projectors rather than the S2000 because I need them to be bi-xenon.

 

Great man, sounds really cool. I thought about doing it myself, but then I thought, I might mess it up. That is a major mod that needs to be done perfectly or the cutoff won't be right. Come on guys, chime in. Lets get this ball rollin. It doesn't have to happen until December, so it'll give you guys some time to consider it. In December I come home on leave from Iraq, so until then, I am stuck here. When I come home on leave, I will be mailing mine out and will have them when I return home for good in April. COme on guys! as he said it is a very good price!
