Looking for some help on "How To" remove the factory headlights on a 98-02 stock Camaro. Having difficulty figuring out how to attempt the job. Want to install replacements (org equip badly sun burned). Any help greatly appreciated.

1st you need to unbolt the bracket that goes from the frame to the light assembly. Its a piece that about 4inches long. Then unplug the lamps. Then you slide the assembly towards the center of the car. If you look down by the bottom of the light you can see the groves that it slides out of. Then you need to pull the outer corner out( the pointy end). Thats the pain in the a$$ part.
Then just manuver it out.

 

It helps to pull the plastic fastners across the front of the nose and gently pull the facia out of the way.
