i want to hook up the extra electrical outlet can i just use the power wires from that little light in the old console? or no? if not how do i exactly hook it up then? i read the install on soem webpage but i didn't quite understandhow i am suspose to splice the one hook up into 2. i am doing this right now so a quick response would be helpful

well, it's easy. Just splice the wires off the wire going to the original outlet into the other one. I'm not sure exactly what your asking about the "little light". I don't feel like looking at the diagrams now, but I prob wouldn't do that cuz it might not be fused off the same circuit, and if it is a "little light" the wire guage may be to small, and you'll draw too much current and either blow a fuse or burn up your wire..................


Also, make sure you use the same guage wire or larger wire when you are splicing the wires into the existing cig lighter outlet.

I went to my local camaro and firebird salvage yard and bought the correct plugs for the new console and spliced the wires to it. It only cost me 10 bucks and it worked great. worth a try. Thanks, Michael
