just bought a console from a '99 to put into my '96 and have a few questions. does the compartment not have a light inside??? i don't see anywhere to put the light in there. my '96 console had a light that would turn on when the compartment door was open. also, did console didn't come with the little slot holder beside the cig lighter. does anyone happen to have one of these or know of a place that carries console parts like this?? also, one side of the ashtray cover is broken, looking for one of those too. thanks for any help!

 

I can't believe it I just got one last month and the SAME EXACT things are missing/broken on mine too

But you can go to the dealer and get most of it or if your in no rush you can find parts on ebay cheaper but you have to be patient.

Just to break it down...

No, no light in the console I just took my bulb out. eventually I'm gonna rig something up...and you can get a little cubby hole for the slot or even and convertable switch panel...
