97+ Center console with 96- dash.

Does anybody have any pics of their 97+ center console conversion with the stock dash? Preferably a 97+ console with a 96 Camaro dash. I just want to see if you can keep that cubby hole thing casue ive got some guages and switches i would like to mount there.

Nope, you can't reuse the CD holder/cigarette lighter compartment... I had a 97+ console with my 94 dash before I did my dash swap and tried to use that compartment to take up the space... It's too big.

So are you running anything in there now or do you just have a gap? I was thinking about putting some sort of guage pod in there, just so it doesnt look out of place.

I have a 2000 Camaro dash in there now... So I just tried the compartment to see if it would fill the space temporarily until I put the new dash in... I didn't really look for anything to fit in there after that.

Get a dash out of an LS1 Convertible, it should have a place for the switch.
