97+ Camaro Dash installed
97+ Camaro Dash installed
As some of you may know i previously had a TA dash installed in my car. Well i had always wanted a 97+ Camaro dash so i finally bought one and swapped it in. I just got done installing some NRauto.com white faced gauges. They're the only ones that looked stock and fit 97-98 Camaros. It sucked because they're a whole new gauge face and you have to remove the needles to install it. The quality is awesome and they're even cheaper than most overlays. Well here are the pics.
Here are a couple of the gauges with a TA bezel installed.

Here are some of the Dash. I managed to modify the old Trans Am radio brackets i had and installed my Bose in the Dash. This way it looks stock and matches my existing Bose system.

My next step is i think i found a local guy that wants to trade his 97+ Camaro leather seats for my TA seats. Then my interior will be exactly how i want it. Sorry a pic or two is blurry its getting cold out right now and its hard not to shiver while taking the pics.

Looks good... Definately worth the time and effort to do the swap... I have T/A leather seats, door panels, and various other appearance mods and I think my 97+ Camaro dash swap is my favorite.. I hated the goofy looking A/C vents and the cheap plastic with my original dash... The newer Camaro dashes are better with the way they're designed and laid out... Not to mention how much better they look.

Here is a night pic of the gauges, they have blue film on the back of them just like stock so this is what they look like with stock bulbs.
No, never found a 97 Z28 cluster.. I stopped looking after getting frustrated and buying the T/A cluster in place of it... That's the thing about ebay, sometimes people have no clue what they're talking about and you get screwed... The problem I have now is finding a quality set of 93-96 T/A overlays... I might take a look at the NRauto.com site to see if they have a set... I don't like the idea of removing the needles though.. I guess I could use my ScanTool to set the gauges back accurately if I screw one up.
