97+ Autometer Tripple Gauge Pod In 93+

Hey All
Did anyone try to butcher the 97+ style triple pod to fit in 93+ car.
I have one laying around with no use and had this idea for quite some time now. My only consern is if I cut off the top and the bottom parts of it - will it still fit on the t-top a-pillar.
That and the fact that I don't really have the 3rd gauge to put in, is the only things stopping me.
If anyone done it, please reply (pics - if any)

Haven't done it, however the only difference should be the vent in the 93-97's. So just do a little fab work (cutting) for the vent, and it should work fine.

neh
as far as I mesured both ends of it have to go
the top part of it is quite big and even if i cut it right after the last pod it will not fit.
I guess I shuld get some useless gauge just to get the project running and go for it. Too bad autometer dosn't make this in Phantom
I'd be one happy customer
