97-02 triple gauge pod fitment in '95

I've found a few who have done this, but haven't really gotten a clear answer. What all is involved in getting a triple gauge pod for a 97-02 Camaro to fit in a 1995 Z28?

I'm not wanting the dual gauge pod kit that simply hooks onto the middle portion of the stock a pillar, I'm wanting the entire piece that clips over alomost the entire a pillar.

Thanks!

I searched and found that people have only had to cut the bottom vent piece off in order to get a good fitment? Can anyone verify?

Didn't have to modify anything, it just went right on.

So nothing had to be done with the small vent on the bottom?

yea im in the same boat i want the full triple guage piller and its for a 97-02...im shure it will work it waill just have that hole where that little round vent is...I think autometer is hella dumm for that why cant they make a piller for the 93-95 maro without the little hole

You have a Formula... he's asking about a Camaro. They are not the same. All year Firebird pillars are interchangeable. Camaro pillars are not, because of the provision for the side window vent hole that changed in 1997.

The alternative is to get an "add-on" pod, epoxy it to the stock pillar, fill/smooth the edges and paint to match. I did that many years ago, before anyone made a full pillar for the Firebird.

It ain't custom if you don't cut... just get creative.
