I bought this camaro a few months ago and now I'm really wanting to make it look good. What I'm wanting to do right now is strip the inside, reupholster it with black carpet and lining, put black and red racing bucket seats, take out all the plastic and paint it black with red highlights, and tint the windows. Make it a red and black theme. Do you guys have any suggestions for anything else?

 

To be honest, I don't like your idea of black carpet and painting the interior at all.

Painting the interior has been done a thousand times before and looks trashy and black carpet will clash with anything you don't paint black. Better to stick with graphite, charcoal, or agate.

This isn't always true of carpet, but generally, graphite is a neutral dark gray, agate is a cool (blue) dark gray, and charcoal is a warm (yellow) dark gray.

 

get the front air dam put back on for starters.

 

Clean up the paint and get some wheels. IMHO less is more. A clean look will go a long way.
