96 Fbird headlight kit

I have a friend who has a 1996 firebird, he is looking for a headlight conversion kit(non-pop up) for his car. We both know they are out there( we saw a fbird with them yesterday), but haven't been able to find them. Anyone have an idea who might sell them. He has tried looking on ebay but no luck.

AFAIK there is NO kit for the LT1 cars... I've seen ones for the LS1 cars, and if I remember right those were about $1200.

If you saw a LT1 car with non-pop-up headlights it HAS to be a one-off custom job...

I just wish I had time and the $1500 so I could build my headlight for my car... But graduating college and trying to find a "real" job isn't the easiest thing right now....

I'm the friend Former86camaro is talking about. I did see a 93-97 bird with fixed lights the other day but by the time I got through the light and did a u-turn the car was gone. So I know they are out there.. but all my searches have come up empty.
