96 Black SS emblems?????
96 Black SS emblems?????
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I am painting my black 95 camaro and had made it an SS replica. I was told by a friend that the emblems are just vinyl and wasn't sure. I can get the fender and rear emblem from the dealer for $44 dollars a piece but if there just vinyl i will be disappointed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
they aren't just vinyl stickers, like shock said they are plastic and have a nice beveled edge. If you're going to copy an SS at least get factory badges. I bought my Z28 with a crappy suncoast SS hood, salad shooters and a nasty solid silver SS badge on each fender with the stock Z28 badge left on the rear. I took the SS badges off the night I brought the car home…in the rain.
I'm not a fan, but obviously you can do what you want. I probably contributed to an SS clone when I sold my real badges for $60 each, but that's not my problem.

J/K. They are indeed plastic and they come in two different color combinations. Red/black and Silver/black.
