94-96 clear/red's interchangeable w/'97 clear/orange/red's ?

94-96 clear/red's interchangeable w/'97 clear/orange/red's ?
I am looking at several Camaro's. If I get a '97, I won't have the clear/red tails that come with the 94-96's that IMO look alot better on a black camaro. Are they interchangeable?

Yes the two lights are interchangeable. There are a couple how-to's on how to go from the tri-color taillights to the dual color taillights on the web. From the ones that I read, it's much easier to go from the tri-color to the dual color than it is the other way around.
