The grilles just pop right out. I had mine painted for a while. Then I just put them back to black.

But all you gotta do is carefully pry on them from the top or bottom (not sides, you will break the tabs) and they will just snap out. Just as easy to put back in.

Since my car is white, I will just leave them black.

They make the billet pieces to replace the stock black part.

good thing i removed the hood insulation, and saw 4 bolts that hold the scoops down, lol, or that would been a BIGGGG Mistake trying to pry them out. I painted them black now though, i bet if you cut the back out behind the screen it would significantly cool the engine when driviong because its right by the intake, headers.

That is what I'm thinking about doing. For soem reason I like the stock hoods and also if you want to put stripes on your car (like me) having a stock hood is a must unless you have some custom decal work done.

I cut mine out, looks a heck alot better than just black pieces thrown on the scoops. Not too sure if it cools the engine bay down though. Probably does!
