i have several cars with these lights, i guess they just take the inner red part out so they look clear and put red bulbs.

does anyone have a site or write up on how to do these? cus i was intrested in doing them for my car..but i dont really know how to do it, or take them apart

 

I think its brent that has a write up on his site, not too sure. VP of my car club has it done, looks pretty nifty. He added a special touch and put some amber ligts in the corner sockets

 

i just did this little mod and instead of putting in red bulbs i put in led lights so when there not on it doesn't look like dumb altezza's. it looks pretty sweet. i also painted the center section of my tailights the part w/ the bird and trans am script body color. i will post pics soon and show u guys. http://members.cardomain.com/juicdta are pics of my car. i just put in a 6spd and long tube headers and over the top wires so the site needs to be updated.

Had mine clear for years...

 

It would be nice to remove the black as well, but it is molded into the lens.

The V6 tails.. I'm not sure about honestly.. I haven't pulled a set apart myself.

 

Hmmm... I'll take a closer look at my lens this winter when I take mine apart again and install Gen 2 LED bulbs Not to mention they're both LEAKING

 

had to pull this up, just bought a 95 T/A and will be doing this soon!
