93-97 to 98-2002 front end conversion
93-97 to 98-2002 front end conversion
I got in a slight fender bender, and I was wandering what it would take to do a conversion from the 96 front end to a 98-2002 bumper cover, hood, headlights. Is there anything else. Like custom fab that needs to be done. I really want to do this. Thanks you guys.

If you figure it out tell me cuz i want the 98+ style fenders on my 95 but i dont wanna have to switch it all out
Edit: mines a bird though so it might still be diff.

There are lots of people who prefer the older style, and lots who prefer the newer style. Find someone with a 98+ car in the same color that likes the 93-97 look better. Get together and swap all of the parts. No cost, and you both come out happy!

Wouldn't you think if someone liked the 93-97 nose better that they would have bought a 97 instead of a 98 and up and saved some money. I'd say the best place to find all the parts would be at a salvage yard.
I know you might say something about the horsepower difference but from what I see in this thread its more about Apperance than power.

I liked the 93-97 nose better, but that wasn't nearly as important to me as getting an LS1. That said, the new style has grown on me since I bought the car, and I'm not swapping. That doesn't mean nobody else wants to...

If your insurance is paying for it find a shop that will bill them for all new parts on the front then go and get the 98 and up parts from the salvage yard. Might be able to slide a few $ in your pocket when your done.
