I have a 96 with an OEM/SLP '99 SS spoiler and just wired it together no relay or resistor and there has NEVER been any code tripped at all. It's the 93-95 OBDI guys that have this trouble from what I've read here.

It was the easiest mod yet. It wasn't a half hour from start/finish and a big visual difference.

I got it working with the relay mod...

I had an accident due to this problem and damaged my front end...
