9005/9006 harness upgrade kit

has anyone tried this harness upgrade kit for running 100w bulbs in the camaros?

i've read of how to make a similar harness so that the extra power is coming from the battery, not running through the switch. but this seems to be an easy and inexpensive alternative.

any ideas? not sure if this should be here or in the "electronics" forum...feel free to move

I would probably be more prone to go with one of these harnesses...APC isn't the most dependable brand out there - and I know that the harnesses from SUVLights.com seem to be up to par.

thanks bowtie...

gives me some things to save up for when i polish my lenses and paint the inside of the light unit.

what are your opinions on the best 100w (or similar) bulbs for good lighting

any of the hyper-whites? i prefer white light over that blue-ish light

Get you some Nokya Hyperwhite's off of eBay - they are on there quite often - and they are some of the best.
