The project is not done because I still have to put in the upper supports for the brackets but thought you might like to see anyway. Pix at the link in my sig.

Looks good! The more I see of the Hella conversion, the closer I get to doing it myself... I think it'd go great with my DG Motorsports grill. Great job on the install, looks great on your car! Got any pics with the hood down?

Sure, I'd be happy to have a chance to show off
meissenation: Now there's a front pic with the hood closed.

Are you using the mounting brackets or making your own custom ones ? ?
Any chance you could take some closeup pics of how the low beams are mounted ? I've been working on this install for weeks now.

Thanks
Well you can see I used Susquehana Motorsports flat brackets along with some mounts made from 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8" angle aluminum from Home Depot and screwed them onto the plastic frame that holds the stock lights like this. I had to remove some plastic for the lights to clear, mostly on the low beams. I also had to cut a hole in the chassis crossmember behind the housings. I did that with a cutting wheel on a Dremel. You can see the hole behind the low beam in this pic.

One final tip: Susquehana also sells 9005 and 9006 jacks with wires 6" or so attached. Put the H9 jacks that are supplied with the Hella lamps on the wires and it all plugs together real easily.
