'73 Camaro with interior from '93 Camaro
I just got to see this somewhat famous car yesterday. It blew my mind that they got everything to fit like this.
It's the car known as 73/93. There's a very lengthy article about it on my website I just updated.

the door panels kinda look like crap to me and not just because of the cut outs for the cage. it looks like there is still some finish work to be done on the sides of the dash where it meets the door too. 93 interiors are terrible though...he should have at least used a 94-96 if not 97+. That said though overall it looks nice.

The hood is based off a mold Wade made of a '96 SS hood.
The car is from Texas/Oklahoma and I think it's been here all of its life.
The door panels don't look all that great anymore because of the adhesive aging, but they're still really cool. This car was finished around '96 or '97 so it's not an incomplete car or one that's been finished recently. It's been used and around just like any other '90s car.
The only major flaws is that there's an area near the window switches that has a piece of plastic broken off and the shifter bezel's pegs are broken and it slides around. I don't really like the Callaway wood grain veneer on the accent items. That kit has never seemed complete to me.

now that I think about it I remember reading that article way back in Super Chevy (wouldn't have guessed it was 2000 though). I can see how the door panels may be wrinkling after that time, but I still think the side of the dash looks unfinished and I don't like that wood grain either. I would have left the hood grill in...it may have looked fake and it was fake, but it still looks better than no grill.
Interesting idea but not my style. I'd much rather a well restored '73 Z28 4-speed.
