I did the 4 headlight mod, looks great!! However is there a way to put 9006 bulbs in the 9005 slot? I know the 9006 doesn't match the 9005 plug, but what if I cut off the old plug and put a new 9006 plug on? Will this work, is the wattage the same going to each of them or am I wasting my time?

 

Take a Dremel and grind down the guide pins to make the 9006 and 9005 plugs 'universal'. I had to do it on my setup because I f'd up and switched 'em when I made my wiring harness.

 

What is the 4 headlight mod? Is it the new bulbs?

it allows all 4 headlights to be on when the highbeams are turned on...very simple mod...lots more light on the road.

what is the advantage of the 9006 over the 9005?

 

So I suppose that on the '98+ Headlights the low beams kick off when the highs come on?
