3rd gen ground effects

I recently purchased an 82 Camaro from a friend of mine that went into the army. I think it was a previously a 4 or 6 cylinder car. It now has a built 350 backed by a built TH350. My question is whether or not I can use the front clip and ground effects from a later model Z28 or RS to get the look of the car I am looking for. Currently it has no ground effects and the front clip needs to be changed. I hope to purchase the parts I need, paint them and bolt them on. Has anyone else done this before? Thanks for all the help

Have you been over to www.thirdgen.org yet? There is a wealth of information to be had.

I think I remember hearing that to get the front lip/spoiler piece on, that you had to cut a small rectangle/notch on the lower portion of the fender. I don't remember anything else specifically about the other pieces.

yes they will fit right on, you just need a new/used front and rear bumpers, and drill holes int he doors and fender/1.4 panel for the GFX to bolt onto.
