35th Anniversary Stripes, Without the Flags?

So I was thinking of a paint scheme (for the future) and then I saw and really liked the 35th Anniversary cars. I want to do something different and not try to make my car look anymore like something it's not, so I was thinking instead of having the stripe turn into that "flag type" thing, it would continue as a regular stripe. What do you guys think of this, and has anyone seen something similar?

Picture for reference:

I knew someone would say that, but yes, like those but with the same color scheme as the 35th Anniversary and with the black part painted in front of the scoop.

I'm just glad someone understood me.

Here's some stripes without the flags.

And here's the Berger SS stripes.

That looks pretty good, but he has an LT1, so it's not quite applicable. The real deal sealer is going to be the back stripes. If they're like the 35th anniversary stripes and are much fatter at the base of the windshield and slim down at the spoiler, it will look pretty goofy if they don't have the flags.

Edit: D'oh! Didn't see that his car had an LS1 front end conversion.

It says in his sig that he has a '93 with an LS1 front bumper. Unless it's a different car. I have trouble remembering who has what...

Maybe so.

I don't want to waste a PM for this, so if you could get on AIM sometime today Alan, I'd like to talk to you about something.

I agree. The back stripes would have to be much more like the 30th Anniversary stripes.

I think the Berger stripes are extremely attractive on an SS hood. Like EXTREMELY attractive. That's what I'd suggest you get. I'm not sure who sells replica ones.

I think when I do decide to do it, I'll just get it painted on.

What do you think about black berger stripes on a red car?

That'd have to be up to you. I'd go with white myself.
