Iam thinking about putting the 35th anniv stripes on my car. My car is red with a black top. Should I get these stripes and if so what color.

If i'm not mistaken, the 35ths are only in silver.

Yep. AFAIK, the REAL 35th ann stripes come only in silver. However, there are a couple places (like 3rdgendecals) that have copied the design and now sell them in purple if that's the way you want them

These are 98+ style SS hood graphics on my 96SS hood. The stripe isn't supposed to go up on the hood like it does but the 96SS scoop is bigger. I like it

Those 35th stlye stripes look MUCH better than the Rk Sport Heritage "stripes" IMO. Looks GREAT on your SS brent. I love how they continue down on that lower front fascia.

I actually like 3rd gens 35th stripes better than the real GM ones. They are slightly different. Look here at the ones like mine...

Notice how on these the points of each "checkered area" are touching. The cuts are made such that it is a continuous line from one side to the other and up and down and then the pieces between are removed. This gives the checkered look.

On REAL 35th stripes, the corners of each checkered area overlap each other. They don't come to a sharp point. I don't much like this and like the fake/copy decals better
