It's not that I think the bumpers look alike, it's the same concept. I have no idea how to fiberglass a piece myself so I was just wondering how the gt bumper matched up to a camaro's. Does it?

My previous post was not directed at you superal, it was for everyone that claims the bumpers are the same thing.

I can get the measurements you want (which ones?), but its not going to fit right (I can tell by just looking at it). It will be just as much to custom make one as it would be to modify a 3000GTs.

The width (from tire to tire) and the distance from the back of the bumper to the back of the tire (length across side of car) would be great. If the tire to tire width is too wide for the camaro body, then just forget the whole thing. Thanks

First off, who are you calling kid, you sound like you're still in high school.
Secondly, why would he need a Civic? By the looks of it, you've already totalled 4 FBodies, maybe you should trade yours in for a Huffy 18 speed.

3000gt bumper = teh rice......that's my opinion.....to each his own. But anyway, someone just get this guy the damn measurements already, so he stops criticizing other people's opinions.....

he didn't even ask for your opinion. he asked if the bumper will fit. it'd be an interesting thing to see on an f-body so I personally hope it works out. I wouldn't try it myself, but it never hurts to see something new.

Damn guys, some of you are way outta line. The guy is not asking for opinions so therefore, if you aren't going to say something "nice" then just keep your mouth shut.

If he would have been asking for opinions then, yeah, contructively tell him you think it'll look terrible. But, he just wants to know if it'll work/fit so if you can't help out then I see no need to reply with ricer and civic comments.

Talking Re: 3000gt rear bumper...will it fit?

hey superal..I thinks its a great idea to try something new...too many people here are conformists and just go with the flow cause they wanna be cool..or atleast tell themselves they are...
I think creativity is what we need (it obviously wasnt in the minds of GM designers after 2003...all their new 'muscle' cars are looking more like bland mid-luxery cars and i personally would like say FORD had their thinking caps on...GT40 baby!!!) and if a 3000GT bumper is what it takes to make you happy with your bumper..I say someone photoshop this guy a 3000GT bumper..or a Vette bumper, or a Ferrari bumper at that! and lets see what it looks like.(..those 3000GTs would stomp a lot of our stock LT1s out there by the way..all wheel drive twin turbo makes a hell of a stock performance option)
As for the 'buy this kid a civic'....get a life dude. Hey supral..if you get someone to photoshop you this or you figure it will work, Id like to see the outcome...Im not crazy about the lisence plate area on those bumpers..but I do like the premolded exhaust areas on them versus buying tacky (IMO) ground effects. Good luck.

I'm sure you know what every single person on this board does and how much money they make and what they do with their life. I'm surprised you made it through high school since "U cant speel 4 crap!!1!!!!!" Sounds like I'm the one that hit a nerve since you had to suddenly make it personal, I just said your car was slow and you start talking how rich and important you are.
