2000 Z28 Seat Replacement

I'm trying to replace the rear driver's side seat cushion on a 2000 Z28 which was damaged. Does anybody know which years of Camaro / Firebird seats that would fit? I intend on recovering it with factory upholstery which I believe is still available. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

I'm pretty sure the Camaro's seats were the same from 1997-2002. I'm also pretty sure that firebird/Trans-am seats will not work since they are a different seat completely.

Thanks for the '97 - '02 suggestion, it will help when searching salvage yards.

The original foam appears to be molded and I thought it would probably be cheaper to obtain a seat salvaged from a wrecked car than to pay an upholsterer.

If you can find a cheap enough seat from the latest model camaro you can find, then that would be the way to go. You can have the foam rebuilt though, my step-dad does it all the time. Custom seats can be pricey though. If your seat cover is in decent shape, a cushion from a donor would be an easy fix.

I put 2002 seats in my 95. They were an exact replacement. The guy I got them from sent me an extra rear seat that you can have if you want it. I believe both rear seats are the same, they're not a left or right. Let me know if you're interested.
