You can't see it, but my 1970 Camaro is behind my 94 Z28, in the garage.

because i'm a **** up.

i do like the emblem on there though.

and the covers I ordered at a GM dealership.. here are the part numbers

10182056
10182057

there is also screws that are made "for" the grilles, but i'm pretty sure you can find them at any hardware store.. they're black though so they will blend in with the grilles though. i ended up just buying the screws too through the dealership, I have six more though, if anyone is interested in buying the rest of them.. you only need 4 for the grilles though.

RS96Silver 02-14-2008 10:04 PM

what did the 2 pcs run u?

Crows89RS 02-14-2008 10:33 PM

I think like $13 and some change.. why don't you have the stock ones..? isn't your car 1LE?

RS96Silver 02-15-2008 11:28 AM

my car is...the front bumper has been changed

Crows89RS 02-15-2008 01:36 PM

ah gotcha

MarcR94v6 02-16-2008 11:39 AM

just paint the screws black, like I did.

Looks pretty good. How much did the hood set you back?

Brangeta 02-16-2008 02:05 PM

Does anyone know if the 1LE grills are different from what would be there on a V6 Camaro ordered without the optional foglights?

RS96Silver 02-17-2008 09:51 PM

they the same thing

19z28camaro02 02-19-2008 10:13 AM

The hood is like $500 or $600, for the bolt on, Shipping is expensive but if chicago isnt a far drive you can make the drive to VFN Fiberglass and pick one up like i did as well. GMHTP put the LS1 version on the cover about a year and a half ago, maybe two, the car was red and the picture was taken at night, i know that.

Crows89RS 02-19-2008 04:30 PM

it wasn't a bad drive from st. louis, also if you're an ls1tech member you get $50 off, so I think the hood was about $500, but then I spent that $50 I saved on gas to get there and back.

isn't it just like any camaro w/o fog lights? i'm not seeing what we're looking at exactly here. no fog lights looks "toothless" to me.

Crows89RS 02-20-2008 12:55 PM

If i didn't put the grilles in, it would have looked ghetto. And I never see any camaros without fog lights, or with these grilles... so that's why I got them in addition to one of my fog lights being cracked. Cheaper than new fog lamps and I think it looks better.

blackbirdta 02-22-2008 07:28 AM

o ok I can barely see the grills, but your right it does look better than an open space
