Unhappy Need help pleaseeeeeeeee

I've tried to find this info everywhere and I can't.

I've just purchased some 18"x10 rims with a 54mm offset for my 95 Z28. Now the guys that I ordered it from asked me if I'm sure they will fit? Cause if they don't I can't return them.

Will 18"x10 rims with an 54mm offset fit all around on my car?

Anyone, please?

Question backspacing

Isn't backspacing half the rim + offset so it would be 5" + 54 mm so in fact 7.123" ???

I'm not sure if that's true.

They only give me the offset.

rims

They are the Voxx Argus 18x10 with 54mm offset,

They said that the 18x8.5 version fits it, but they are not sure about the 18x10 on the front.

Even if they rubbed it would probably only be on extremely tight cornering...

OK

Since I've also seen people run 18x10.5 z06 rims on the front, and they are the 58mm offset, that concludes that mine will fit

and even if they rub a little, hey they'll still turn right?

Thanks for everything guys

oh yeah, I almost forgot, this brings me back to my orig question, should I go with 275/35R18 or 286/35R18 's on these rims?

I have 285x35 on my 10.5 and the sidewall bows in just a little, I would run the 285s on your 10 inch rim. I think 275s would bow in on a 10 inch wheel like my 285s.

The tire rack has some nice SUMITOMO 285/35WR18 's for $186,
are those any good? I heard a lot of good things about kuhmo tires, but it doesn't look like they make them in 285 series.

I think that's the best deal I have found. Anyone seen any cheaper?

I paid $200 a piece for the rears and $175 a piece for the fronts. That price sounds pretty good. I really like my Sumitomo tires. I got caught in the rain going to a car show a couple of weeks ago, and they had fairly good traction. I had some Kuhmo ecsta 712s on another set of wheels and was not impressed with them, but they were a really good price.
