17X9.5 and 17X11 rim's

OK... i am really pissed off. I ordered 17X9.5, and 17X11's for the rear for my 95 Camaro. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK%3AMEBWA%3AIT

I took it to a tire place (CJ tires) to dry fit them so they could get a idea of the tire size to get, and the rear's don't fit!!! what give's! Is anyone else Running this setup?!?! how did you get them to fit? Has anyone else ordered form AFS wheel's? My car chassis and suspension is bone stock, i don't know why these tires won't fit? i don't have a convertable or anything. AHHHH i am so pissed of, someon please give me advice!!!

how dont they fit, do they rub against the inner fender, because its not uncommon to have to take a hammer to the inner fender.

first, what are the offsets on your wheels.

To get mine to fit, I had to remove my bumpstops and pounded the inner wheel well with a mini sledge.
Also, if you could get some pics it would be good, I'll tell you if it looks right or not been there done that

Ok i did some re-search and looked into it more and a lot of people said they removed there bump stop and maleted out the fender wheels... i found this site, does this look right? http://u2.netgate.net/~jshapiro/z28/315s/index.html what it says with pounding and small griding and dealing with the bump stop's. my offset is +50 in the rear, that is where i have the problem. are yuo usuing spacer's? what size?

the 50mm offset should work perfectly on your car. I just put a set of black AFS ZR1s on my trans am with the 36.5mm offset, and they went on perfect with 315-35-17 sumitomo tires. I didn't have to bang on the inner fender nor did I need to roll the fender lip or even do anything to the bump stops. Are you sure you have 50mm offsets and not the 56mm offset like the true Grand Sports?
