I also have 17's all the way around-might look better though b/c the ground effects. The car will look ok without being lowered, but probably will look best if it is lowered.

No. Put down your rap CDs. 17" wheels don't look ugly. Especially if your goal is performance, and you don't want the added weight and inertia of 19" or 20" wheels.

Sure 19"s and 20"s look good if they are done tastefully, but it's not like 17"s are ugly.

I like the stance of a stock SS with ZR1's..........are they lower than the Z28?

STOCK ride height... STOCK 17 x 9 Rims..... looks good to me...

I already hate my ground clearance issues with speedbumps and bad driveways, I don't think I could live with lowering no matter how much better it looked.

My car stock has 17's none lowered and i think it is purdy! but of course any car looks better with the right drop no matter how big the wheel.

My car is low enough, the only thing I dont like is the gap on the back wheels.
